The cost to clean your home depends on many factors: whether the cleaning is an initial cleaning or recurring maintenance cleaning, size of your home, bathrooms and rooms to be cleaned, condition of your home, number of people, indoor pets, your unique cleaning

Our minimum fee for a Recurring Cleaning service is $120.00 and the Deluxe Deep Cleaning service is $399. Sales tax not included.

What is the difference between a deep cleaning and a maintenance cleaning?

Our Deluxe Deep Clean is one or our most comprehensive house cleaning service and penetrates the dirt and grime build up. The advantage to a deep clean is that we hand wash rather than dry dust areas of your home.  If you haven’t deep cleaned your home in the last 3-6 months or longer, we recommend the deep clean to start and every 6 months, thereafter.  We follow our Maintenance Clean Room Checklist so that you expect a thorough cleaning of yo

ur home.

How do I know I can trust your cleaning technicians?

All of our cleaning technicians go through a stringent screening process before we hire them.  We have an in-depth application and interview

process designed to satisfy our core values.  We then conduct a thorough background check.  We pay performance-based wages and benefits so we can attract and keep the top people. Our training is industry recognized and reinforced daily to provide a consistent and thorough cleaning service.

Are you insured and bonded?

Yes, Mrs. Clean Pittsburgh carries comprehensive liability, bonded and workmen’s comp insurances to provide the client with the peace of mind that if an accident were to occur, you are covered and have no liability. It is common to find most cleaners in the industry that don’t carry insurance while on your property. We will provide you with a copy of the certificate of coverage upon request.

Do the cleaning technicians accept tips?

Yes, tipping is not expected but is much appreciated by the cleaning teams serving you. Tip what you feel is appropriate and the tips go to the individuals directly.

How do I provide feedback on the cleaning services?

We love honest feedback on our service.  You will receive a scorecard after each service to make sure we are meeting your expectations.  Completing the scorecard is quick and easy, either by email or text.  It takes 30 seconds!

  • If there is an issue, we care and want to make sure the issue is noted in your file and doesn’t become more, no matter how small you think. We’ll come back and correct it! We are responsive to your needs and if we don’t know, we cannot remedy the situation.

What If I'm not happy with my cleaning service?

Mrs. Clean Pittsburgh is committed to providing our clients with a consistent and thorough house cleaning service. If you are not satisfied with the cleaning service, please contact us within 24 hours and we will come back to your home within 24 business hours or an agreeable time to touch up the areas not meeting your satisfaction at no additional charge.  Our policy is not to offer discounts and we are happy to come back to meet your satisfaction and expect you will be happy.

Will the same cleaning technician be sent to my home?

We will usually send a team of 2 or more cleaners to your home on the initial cleaning service.  Once you are on a recurring service, we expect to send the same cleaning tech to your home each time. However, we cannot guarantee that due to sickness, vacation time or schedule changes.  When that happens, we are able to send another tech so you will not have interruption of service. All homes have individual work orders and we have standardized processes and training, so be at ease if a change is n necessary.  And if you request a tech change? No problem, we can do that too.

What should I do about my pets?

We love pets! If your dog or cat is comfortable with us, he or she is free to roam. We do like to know prior to your first cleaning if you have a pet, along with each pet’s name, so we can talk to them and help them feel comfortable with us. If a pet exhibits aggressive behavior while we are presently working, we may ask you to contain him or her during our visit.

Do you bring your own supplies?

Yes, we bring all cleaning products and equipment needed to clean and the cleaning technicians are trained in using the products. We pride ourselves on using the best professional cleaning supplies and equipment – safer choices for you, your family, your pets, and the environment. Many of the cleaning products we use are national brands and offer green cleaning products proven not to damage your surfaces.

Should I hire a professional house cleaning company or an individual cleaner?

Hiring a professional cleaning company is a great decision. We find that professional house cleaning companies provide better consistent cleanings, greater peace of mind, flexibility in schedules and responsive customer service.  Professional cleaning technicians have been trained to follow consistent cleaning methods and procedures.  Companies follow stringent hiring practices to make sure you can trust those in your home while being insured and bonded.  You will find companies have more cleaning technicians that can provide greater scheduling flexibility and timely responsive customer service.

How often should I have my home cleaned?

We recommend a recurring service every 2 weeks so you don’t have to do maintenance cleaning in between visits.  We offer service frequency of every week, every two weeks, and every four weeks. Most of our clients select every two-week schedule after the initial deluxe deep cleaning service

What types of payment do you accept for house cleaning services?ouse cleaning services?

We request payment on the day of service. We prefer a credit card and accept Master Card, Visa, Discover and American Express.  This ensures the safety of our technicians so they are not carrying large cash balances.  In addition, credit cards are much more secure than checks.

Do i need to sign a contract for cleaning services?

You never need to sign a contract for house cleaning services and you can cancel services at any time. We want you to be happy and invite us back into your home.

Do I have to be home when you clean?

No, a large majority of our customers give us access to their homes when they are not there. You can provide us with a key or garage code to access the property. You can enjoy the time you are saving.
