No experience in house cleaning is necessary because we will train you to be highly successful through the Mrs. Clean Pittsburgh method to clean.
- Ideal candidates live near Monroeville, Monongahela, Pittsburgh, and Mt. Lebanon, PA to optimize schedules
- Must be available Monday – Friday between the hours of 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Must have reliable transportation and car insurance to drive to client homes

FAQs
You can expect to build strong relationships with clients who appreciate your consistency and thoroughness. You provide a meaningful service to people and build trust with them as you help them on a regular schedule. The client will provide you feedback afterwards so you know how you are doing. Your day will start by leaving from home and heading directly to 1-3 houses to clean and return home. Most days you will work independently and some days with other team members on larger cleaning services like initial deep cleanings. You have independence, autonomy and variety every day.
You can earn weekly between $18.00 – $23.50 per hour while cleaning a home. Training pay starts at $18 per hour when cleaning and increases to $18.50 – $23.50 when training is completed. Our top technicians can earn over $1,000 per week and haven’t had to be with the company for years. What you earn depends on you and the number of homes you clean per week. Bonuses and tips are a plus!
We offer paid vacation, Aflac Supplemental Insurance, Telemedicine, no weekend or week night schedules. We are always looking for ways to make Mrs. Clean Pittsburgh a great place to work.
Yes, cleaning can be hard work. The first couple of weeks your body will be tired using muscles you haven’t used in a while but improves because you become stronger. You are on your feet, bending and reaching while you clean. Some houses are harder than others. We teach you to be efficient and effective with your cleaning. You are getting a workout and moving around which is great for your well-being.
You do have flexibility with your schedule. You will have to provide us advance notice so we can make adjustments to the house cleaning schedule.
We have the best training in the industry. You will start with an orientation at the office where we start training with video learning. The next day, you will begin 5 days with intensive hands-on training with a qualified trainer. The next 2-3 weeks, you will work to build your confidence and apply the techniques and procedures in cleaning homes independently.
